FlashChords helps you memorize piano chords through short, focused practice. It includes hundreds of chords across multiple roots, chord types, and inversions.
Start with white-key major chords in root position, use a 10-second timer, keep incorrect detection off at first, and expand gradually to more roots, chord types, and inversions as you improve.
Incorrect detection is best used for advanced drills. When it is off, you can retry until the chord is correct or the timer ends. When it is on, the first detected chord is judged immediately.
Audio is checked about every 0.1 seconds. To avoid false positives, a correct chord must be stable for 3 frames, but your recorded time starts at the first correct detection.
FlashChords measures room noise and sets a baseline so detected notes must rise above that level. For best results, practice in a quiet room and keep the microphone enabled.
FlashChords already includes hundreds of chords, and more chord types and features will be added over time.
